Great Places to eat in Matthews
My husband and I ate at Gado last night and were thrilled with the ambience, quality of the food and the general good will of owner George and manager Fahrad, not to mention the attention of Lynton. We were really accidental tourists, as we had just stopped in at Linda and Bob Williams AAA Collectibles to get a birthday gift for grandson, and a customer came in raving abut Gado's crab cakes. On the spur of the moment we tried it, and they were wonderful!!! Only open a few days, but it is evident the news is spreading by word of mouth.

Yes, definitely need more places that are GOOD to eat...how "kid-friendly" is the restaurant as far as atmosphere & food?

I would agree with you that we need more GOOD places to eat; however, there seems to be so many "kid-friendly" restaurants already. It would be nice to have more places that cater to adults who may be looking for that certain ambience and atmosphere that aren't outrageously priced. And we definitely need more smoke-free restaurants.

had dinner at gado a few weeks ago with my wife. i give it 2 thumbs up; well priced, great food, nice decor, friendly staff. we will be back. also, they have a good wine selection there so check it out.
