Job Transition Support Group
Have you recently lost your job (I did) and was wondering if others in the Matthews community would like to create a support group to help with networking. If you are interested in meeting send me an email and depending on the response I'll see if we can set up some days/times to meet.

There is a Christian job transition class at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church in Matthews. It meets on Sunday morning at 9am across the street from the church in their High School building rooms 101/103.

Thanks I've been to the Ministry at Work meetings at Matthews UMC (on Thursday's 7-9 pm) and at Providence UMC (on Monday's 11-12:15) both are really helpful. I will be at my church on Sunday morning so I wouldn't be able to attend the one at Covenant Presbyterian but thank you for letting me know it is another option.
