Matthews American Legion Post 235 holds monthly meeting in the Matthews Women's Club Service League House on S. Trade Street at 6:30 PM on the last Thursday of each month.
All members of the American Legion and those interested in joining the American Legion are invited to attend.
Membership is open to all veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States who served on active duty during periods specified by Congress. For specific dates or for an application please call the membership coordinator, Richard Bowers, at 704-321-7920 or Post Adjutant Pete McMurtrie at 704-814-4962.
