Matthews Community Farmers' Market

The Matthews Community Farmers' Market will hold it regular season opening day on April 12. The market will be open every Saturday morning through November from 7:15 until noon in the green space near Renfrow Hardware.
Mark Hibbs, chef-owner of Ratcliffe on the Green restaurant in Charlotte will do a cooking demonstration using seasonal produce at 8:30 am. Matthews classical harpist Amber Carpenter will provide the morning's music while artisan Judy Leftwich will demonstrate the art of carving wooden spoons.
Shoppers can choose from a wide array of spring produce, naturally raised meats, soft goat cheese, free range chicken eggs, local honey, fresh-cut flowers, herbs and more.
