The koi in a garden pond

Water Features and the drought.

I get more questions about the drought these days and how a water feature uses water. The short answer is that a water feature uses less water than watering a lawn. The explainination for this is fairly simple, a pond or waterfeature when properly built (with no leaks) recirculates the water over and over as part of the filtration and esthetic property of a pond.
