Construction in Matthews

Wow, Have you noticed all the construction activity around the Potters road / Chestnut Lane area lately? The roads are being widened, electricity poles moved, car parks lots marked, a new pharmacy (I'm told Walgreens) is coming up, not to mention Harris Teeter - nearly 50,000 square foot of it!
My office being right across from the street, where all this is going on is really fascinating. The jobs these construction work provides is phenomenal. The developers recently told me that folks like Harris Teeter got their funding approved before the financial meltdown. I for one can't wait for the brand new facility to come up.
