Invite a Friend Challenge

I'd like to challenge each of you to invite 5 local friends to visit the iMatthews.com website. The more people that get involved at this early date will increase the likelihood of long term stability of the site. Post a message when you have invited your 5. Thank you for reaching out to our neighbors.

I'm WAY over 5 ppl at this point. Probably closer to 40. And I see a number of them have already signed on.

Hi Darryl: Love the "Invite a Friend" challenge. It worked with me. I just invited 5 people to join imatthews.com. Three are professional associates and two are friends who live in Matthews.

So here's a questions. What do you call people who live in Matthews? You know, folks who live in Charlotte are called Charlotteans. So would folks who live in Matthews be Matthew-ites ... Matthew-vians ...?

Thanks, Beth Griffiths

I just call people who live in Matthews good folks.

I like that its hard to label otherwise...

Ok, that response will get you a Gold Star from the Chamber, but I think Beth has a good point. What should we call our citizens? Matthonians? When you say it, it makes you sound like Bugs Bunny. Maybe the Mayor will weigh in.

Shouldn't it be Matthewsonians? Sort of reminds me of Jeffersonian or Washingtonian!
