Hello again,
I can leave them in a bag with your name on it at the sign in the community garden or you can pick them at my home which ever suits you. We live in Sardis Plantation. Let know which you prefer. Jennifer and I will be transplanting Wed and Thurs this week. Looks like the rain will keep us outof the garden over the week end. We have over 50 sell beds to re-work before Nov. The beds average 25' by 4' and if we are really working we can redo 2 a day. I try to be out of the garden by 1 or 2 in the afternoon be cause of the heat. I can manage 1 a day by my self. Let me know what you would like to do about the flowers. Terry B

Thanks for the response, Its pretty busy around here we are in the process of redoing our daylily farm( all 50 beds) as we do every fall and our art class starts up again on tue after labor day. I am going to be choosing the plants that I will not sell next year and will offer them to any one in the garden group. All the plants are registered daylilies. Let me know if you might like a few. They are all pretty but I must rotate my stock to keep newer plants in the sell beds. They will be available off and on through Sept and Oct. as we continue to work. I really hate to toss them in the mulch but thats where they go if I can't give them away. Terry B

Hi
My wife Jennifer and a friend, Carol have worked with beads and jewelry. Both have a history in art and design. I may think she is the best designer amoung our friends. I joined the group and said hello and had no response, saw the same happened to you hope that we can over come this.

My husband came home and chuckled at my primative computer skills. With some gentle instructions I have learned that I can have text and photos in the same box. Above is Silver Squiggle. it is made of sterling wire and glass, and is still on view at the Mint Hill Arts gallery.

How To Avoid Shipwrecks

I just returned from a vacation of almost 2,000 miles and laundry and unpaid bills await. I have to share this thought before returning to the real world. I did the trip of familial obligation and found myself saying it's just a little further to go to... That's how we ended up on a boat tour of Lake Superior shipwrecks in the upper penninsula of Michigan. The tour guide divided us into 3 groups so we could take turns looking through the glass bottom enclosures to see the wrecks we were over and… Continue

Why Rock City

Why Rock City instead of a glamour shot? You had to ask. First is my reluctance to take myself too seriously. Second is that we enjoyed our vacation there last year. Rock City is truly a piece of Americana. As a child as we traveled from Indiana down to Florida to visit my grandparents we would see "See Rock City" painted on the side of every barn. We finally convinced my parents to stop, despite their general reluctance to stop at tacky tourist traps.… Continue

William Holland

The week of July 21 my son and I are going to William Holland Lapidary School in the mountains of Georgia. I go to camp one week every summer to learn a new skill to incorporate into my jewelry. This year I will be studying cold connections, which is metalworking except for soldering and silversmithing. I look forward to adding this skill to my repertoire.
